Collision Repair in St. Louis, Missouri
A modern vehicle is engineered to absorb a crash in a specific, calculated way. Putting it back together correctly means restoring those load paths, not just making the outside look right again. That distinction is the whole job at Hunter Auto Body, and it is why we build a written repair plan before anyone picks up a tool.
How we scope the damage
Visible damage is rarely the full story. We disassemble far enough to see what the impact actually reached, then check the findings against the manufacturer's published procedures for your specific year, make, and model. Hidden damage discovered at this stage goes into a supplement, which we take to your carrier ourselves rather than leaving you to argue for it.
Our technicians carry I-CAR Platinum and Gold designations along with ASE certification, and we hold manufacturer-specific collision credentials for Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Ford, Lincoln, Nissan, Infiniti, Kia, and Hyundai. We work on every make, but for those brands we are following the automaker's own training.
Why independence matters here
We are not in any insurer's Direct Repair Program. Nobody hands us a parts list built around a discount. We use OEM parts and OEM procedures because that is what the engineering calls for, and because it is the only basis on which we would be willing to guarantee the work for the life of the vehicle.
One customer's daughter was in a crash here in St. Louis while her family lived out of state. We collected the vehicle and handled the claim end to end. That is the level of involvement we expect of ourselves on a collision job.
Call (314) 353-3122 or bring the vehicle to 8014 Gravois Rd. The consultation costs nothing.
